Make a request, report a problem or provide feedback online
Go to Council's eRequests to:
- report an abandoned vehicle, dumped rubbish, noise, illegal parking, unsightly property or bin request
- go to General request for all other requests
- request information such as a new resident kit or publication or ask us a question, or
- make a complaint/compliment/ feedback
- We read requests in business hours and action or forward to the relevant Council Officer the same day.
Please use the change of details form to notify Council of change of name, address or ownership.

Planning or building enquiry
Complete a Planning property enquiry form (DOC 66Kb) to request planning advice, please note there is a fee for written building and planning enquiries.
We offer a free phone and counter service for planning and building enquiries. Contact Council on 9240 1111 or visit the Moreland Civic Centre.
After hours emergencies
For after hours emergencies that involve Council, including blocked drains that could cause flooding, road accidents, debris over a footpath, oil spills, injured animals on public land, fallen trees, water leaking at reserves, and dog attacks, use our number 9240 1111.
You will be asked to press 1 on your touch tone phone to be connected to a Council officer. If you do not have a touch tone phone please contact (03) 9236 0771. Non-emergency issues are followed up the next business day.

Opening hours
The Coburg, Brunswick and Glenroy Citizens Service Centres are open Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm.
Services
At our Citizen Service Centres, you can ask about Council services, pick up information and make Council payment including rates, dog and cat registration and parking fines, we take cash, cheque, credit card and EFTPOS.
At Moreland Civic Centre, 90 Bell Street, Coburg, you can talk to staff from Planning, Building Services, Aged and Disability Services, and Children's Services.
Buy East Timor coffee
You can support Council's friendship city relationship with Aileu East Timor by buying coffee at a Council Citizen Service Centre.
East Timor coffee is now selling for $8.00 for a 250-gram pack. (Purchasers of a block of 8 packets will get a discount of $4 (i.e. $60 per block).
All proceeds go to the community of Aileu in East Timor.
Buy energy saving light globes
In conjunction with the Moreland Energy Foundation, Council sells compact fluorescent light globes at all Citizen Service Centres. The globes cost $5 and all proceeds go towards sustainable energy projects in the Aileu District.
Buy safe and sound child harnesses
The harnesses are at Coburg Civic Centre and cost $20. There is a limit of two per household as the cost has been subsidised in the interest of child safety.
Language Link for languages other than English
Language Link is Council's free multilingual telephone information service. There is a telephone interpreter for each of Moreland's nine community languages.
